Shawna started The Refined Man in 2015 in Tennessee, she relocated back to the Olympia area in 2016 and brought the shop with her. She has extensive training at both American Crew and Paul Mitchell. She enjoys time with her husband Ken on their Harleys, traveling, working on their home and spending time with their 4 sons, and 3 grandchildren.

3 things Brinna loves doing in her free time is camping, going to the dunes and hangout with her fiance' and 2 dogs. She's getting married in May of 2025. Currently she is rebuilding a '69 VW Bug. Her favorite food is chicken fried steak or any kind of pasta you set in front of her.

I’ve been passionate about hair my entire life, starting beauty school in high school and building a 13-year career specializing in women’s color and wedding styles before transitioning to barbering. Becoming a barber has been one of the best decisions I’ve made, allowing me to combine creativity and precision in my craft.
